Terms of service

The service

Setwerks provides online tools for scheduling film and video productions and distributing call sheets. By creating an account or using a call sheet link you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.

Accounts

You must be at least 18 to open an account. Keep your password private and tell us if you suspect misuse. You are responsible for what is done under your account, including by collaborators you share projects with.

Your content

Scripts, schedules, contact lists and everything else you upload stay yours. You give Setwerks permission to store, process and transmit that content only as needed to provide the service, for example to parse a script or email a call sheet. You confirm you have the right to upload it and to contact the people whose details you enter.

Messages to cast and crew

When you send a call sheet, Setwerks sends email and, if you choose, text messages to the people on it on your behalf. You are responsible for having their consent to be contacted and for honouring requests to stop. Do not use the service to send messages unrelated to a production.

Plans and billing

Setwerks offers a free plan. The features each plan includes are described in your account settings and may change with notice. Paid plans, where offered, are billed through Stripe monthly or yearly and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from settings; access to paid features continues until the end of the period already paid. Prices may change with notice before your next renewal.

Acceptable use

Do not use Setwerks to break the law, to harass anyone, to send unsolicited messages, or to interfere with the service or other users. We may suspend accounts that do.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or retire features. We will give reasonable notice of changes that materially reduce what the service does.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided as is. Weather, sunrise and hospital information comes from third parties and may be inaccurate; always verify safety-critical details. To the extent permitted by law, Setwerks, LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and its total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may close accounts that breach these terms. On closure your data is handled as described in the privacy policy.

Text messages (SMS)

Producers: only tick “agreed to receive production texts” for people who have actually agreed, and only text them about your production. You may not use Setwerks to send marketing or unrelated messages.

Cast and crew: by agreeing to receive texts you will get messages about the productions you are on, such as call times, schedule changes and confirmation requests. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, START to opt back in, or HELP for help, or email support@setwerks.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Details: setwerks.com/sms.
